The room was brand-new, fashionable and the bed was very clean. The location was unbeatable, just a short stroll away from a pedestrianized square. The breakfast was healthy, the check in was easy. Service-oriented and customer-facing staff, they helped us a lot...

Great area to be in Berlin. Two blocks from Alexanderplatz, next to a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. It's even possible to view great samples of Berlin's famous street art just crossing the street. The room is quite big, the beds are confortable and so is the bathroom. Mostly, it was great to stay there for two reasons, the locations, because Berlin is kind of spread out, but here you are very well located (even close to all public transportation) and the price was very good either. They had wi-fi for free in the lobby for the guests who didn't book rooms with breakfast like me, but it was good enough.
I guess they could have a mini bar in the room. Also, the service was not always very good at the reception/bar because the same people were both receptionist and barman/woman. One last thing, they could have more eating options at the hotel lobby, they only have some portions of sandwiches.

Good location, right on Alexanderplatz and at most a 20 minute walk from all the main attractions. Nice clean room and easy check in.
Tiny bit of noise if you have a room facing the train tracks.

The motel/hotel is very funky looking, with a trendy aspect. It looks like it was recently refurbished, as it is very clean and fresh. It is located close to Alexandraplaz train station and is only 3-4 mins walk to Hackescher Markt, which is full of great bars and restaurants. Berlin is a great walking city and is easy to great around to see all the sites.
We had a disastrous start, as the motel/hotel was over-booked, despite booking months ago. This was not great as we were checking in at 23.30! They paid for a taxi and sent us to their sister hotel near the Tiergarten. When we tried to check in there, we were only offered a double room, which was not great for 2 grown men. That reception then found another hotel near Potsdam Square, which had twin beds but was not a very good standard. They paid for yet another taxi and we finally got a room at 00.50. We went back to the original hotel the next day and finally got our room (which was clean but pretty small). The moral of this story is confirm with the motel/hotel before you leave, as they have an unreliable computer system!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and the clean room was a real highlight, along with the cozy garden terrace at the back for some relaxation. A minor hiccup was that the big window could feel a bit unsafe when open, but it didn't impact my stay at all. Definitely check out the pastries at breakfast—they're a tasty treat! 😊

The Motel One Berlin-Alexanderplatz was more than perfect to us!! The Motel One chain is a huge german hotel chain and it is not well known in Brazil. The hotel is centrally located, absurdely near from the tube and train station, in a lovely, safe and trendy neighborhood. The room is not very large, but has design and is excellent for people travelling by businness or tourism. Great shower. We stayed in a room with a view of de TV Tower and the train station, but that was no problem because the windows are sound proof. The staff is friendly, helpful and speak english. We highly recommend this hotel!!!
